International project HUSKROUA / 1702 / 6.1 / 0022: Caring for the environment
Today, February 15, 2021, within the grant project HUSKROUA / 1702 / 6.1 / 0022 “Regional Center for Training and Monitoring of Environmental Impacts of Electrical Installations – CRIMIGE”, funded by the European Union under the cross-border cooperation program Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraina 2020, an online meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian and Romanian parties. The team consists of Yaroslav Adamenko, Head of the Department of Ecology, Project Coordinator from IFNTUNG, Head of the Department of Tourism and Technical Expert Lyudmila Arkhipova, First Vice-Rector of IFNTUNG and Project Communication Manager Oleh Mandryk, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Management . Department of Philology and Translation Julia Stahmych (Ukraine) and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) – Assistant Project Manager Michaela Stit, Technical Experts Mircea Horgos and Claudio Lung, Financial Manager Gabriela Michis and translator Ramona Demarcek, summed up the year.
According to the agenda of the meeting, the reports of the project leaders – Ya. O. Adamenko (IFNTUNG) and Michaela Stit (TU Cluj-Napoca) were heard. Participants also heard the financial report for 2020 and discussed the preparation for the international audit of grant indicators. A plan for the procurement of equipment for 2021 was discussed and approved, which would significantly contribute to the control of processes that may disrupt the natural functioning of environmental factors, as well as a comprehensive assessment of environmental impact.
As one of the goals of the project is to implement a joint environmental training and information campaign on the impact of electricity on the environment through the exchange of research, experience, practice and enrichment of knowledge on environmental legislation, it was previously planned to write a manual and laboratory workshop for IFNTUNG and Romania in the specialty “Ecology”, which was to contain materials on the impact on the environment and human health of noise, vibration, electromagnetic radiation and more. The online meeting reviewed the status and level of work performed.
As a result, the results of grant work performed in 2020 were recognized as positive. It is recommended to extend them in 2021 according to the calendar plan. After all, the scientific and applied results, innovative tools and equipment obtained under this project will have practical application to lay the foundation for experts in research and assessment of environmental impacts of European and domestic environmental legislation, as well as for training highly qualified specialists in universities. -environmentalists.
